Taylor Valve Technology’s standard definition and test acceptance criteria for the maximum acceptable leakage though metal to metal seats in its hard seated safety relief valves is 0.20 SCFH measured at the outlet of the valve with pressure at held at 90 percent of the set pressure immediately after relieving. Measurement will be made using a commercial flow meter capable of detecting a flow of 0.05 SCFH (Dry, clean air at min 62 degrees F).
