The Taylor Valve Technology, Inc. 9400 Series Safety Relief Valve is a direct acting spring operated safety relief valve, relying on the system pressure to overcome the spring force in order to open and relieve system pressure.

The 9400 Series is intended for liquid services. It exhibits the characteristics of a modulating relief valve in that there is virtually no blowdown. The valve will reseat very near the set point. This valve is designed to discharge to atmospheric conditions and should not be exposed to any significant back pressure.

The 9400 features a forged body with an integral male wing union inlet connection. All components are made from high quality materials and are available for both standard and H2S service.

The 9400 meets the performance requriements of API RP 520.
